Over size tires can put extra torque on the axle shafts and worse case scenario, you twist the shaft or strip the splines. In a case where you need a reliable replacement, The Crown Automotive Driver Side Front Axle Shaft Assembly arrives assembled and ready to install. This shaft is a direct replacement for the shafts used in early Jeep JK's up to 2012 with Dana 30 axles. It can also be used on JK's after 2012 in conjunction with new hub bolts ( Mopar #5012436AB ).
Included U-Joint Measures 2.188″ Between Snap Ring Grooves.
Factory Fitment: 2007-2012 JK Wranglers use as direct replacement with no additional parts or modifications, JK Wranglers 2013-2018 can use along with new hub bolts (#5012436AB sold separately)
For OE Differential Carriers: Diameter and spline counts match original differential carriers and aftermarket carriers supplied as factory replacements.
