When you are restoring your Jeeps transmission it is vital to have the right parts when its time to reassemble. The Crown Automotive Transmission Input Shaft Snap Ring is used on the front bearing and snaps into the ring groove on the input, locking the bearing to the shaft. If you are rebuilding the transmission it is nice to have small parts like snap rings around in the case the original is bent or broken.
