Heavy-Duty Construction: Toyo Tires Open Country M/T Tires are highly durable. By using a high turn-up, 3-ply polyester construction, Toyo improved handling and impact resistance. This makes for a long-lasting tire without sacrificing grip or flexibility.

Over-The-Shoulder Tread: By wrapping the tread around the shoulder of the tire, Toyo allows their Open Country M/T Tire to gain additional grip in deep snow, sand, and mud. The open, scalloped shoulder blocks bite into loose ground, but they will not clog because of their self-cleaning open channels.
Wet Traction: Many mud and off-road focused tires struggle to find grip on wet surfaces. To avoid this, Toyo employs deep siping in the tread blocks to force water out of the contract patch and maintain tractions, even on wet roads.
