The Hardtop Liftgate Support from Omix is a direct replacement for the original struts found on your hardtop. These gas-charged shocks allow for smoother opening and closing of the rear glass. They also help to keep the glass in position whether it is up or down. No more bouncing glass when you are driving or fumbling around trying to hold the glass up while you are loading or unloading cargo. These shocks are sold each but recommended that they be replaced in pairs to assure they have similar pressure. A simple quarter-turn lock mechanism keeps them collapsed in shipping, to allow extension push in and turn to release.
