Upper control arms on Jeeps control the angle of the axle and pinion attaching to the driveshaft. The Crown Automotive Front Upper Control Arm replaces the factory control arm once the elements have rotted the control arm or bushing to the point of no longer being effective. If the bushing deteriorates and allows play or the control arm is bent and no longer holding tight, you will notice vibrations coming from the u-joints. Let it go long enough and you could ruin joints, yokes or even worse the internal components of the axle. This arm includes the bushing for the body side connection, but does not include the bushing for the eye on the axle housing. Fits both left and right sides.
