The Mopar Intermediate Lower Steering Shaft replaces the original that is especially vulnerable as it has a slip joint built in for self-adjustment when flexing. This slip joint made of a splined shaft section, can strip under excessive torque. This is a factory original part so you know that installation will be simple, and your time down will be kept to a minimum as there is no waiting around for extra parts or modifications to be completed.
