The same gauge works on all 4,6 and 8-Cylinder engines, a switch on the back is available for you to select the correct application.
Minor re-wring is needed, refer to the manufactures installation instructions to see the proper wiring configuration. This item is compatible for a number of Jeep models, including CJ-5s from 1976 to 1983 and CJ-7s from 1976 to 1986.
