STARTER 02-07 KJ 3.7 WK 4.7

Few problems stop a Jeep adventure faster than turning the key and getting nothing in return. The Crown Automotive 56041641AG Starter Motor directly replaces a worn or failed original starter on compatible Jeep Liberty KJ, Grand Cherokee WK, and Commander XK models. Designed around the factory application, it restores the cranking performance needed to reliably bring the engine to life without adapting a universal starter or modifying the vehicle's original starting system.

This starter is designed for 2002–2007 Liberty KJ models equipped with the 3.7L PowerTech V6 as well as 2005–2009 Grand Cherokee WK and 2006–2009 Commander XK models equipped with the 4.7L PowerTech V8. Its 12-volt configuration, 10-tooth drive gear, and clockwise rotation match the requirements of the compatible factory-style starter application. These specifications matter when replacing a starter, since similar-looking units may use a different tooth count, rotation, or mounting configuration.

Starter motors endure thousands of heat cycles and repeated exposure to engine vibration, moisture, dirt, and high electrical loads. Eventually, that punishment can show up as slow cranking, intermittent engagement, clicking without engine turnover, or a complete no-crank condition. Replacing a failing unit with the Crown Automotive Starter Motor restores a critical link between the battery and engine, helping provide consistent cranking whenever it's time to get moving.

Crown Automotive specializes in replacement components engineered around original Jeep applications, and the 56041641AG follows that same approach. Factory-style mounting and connections streamline installation while maintaining the original starting-system configuration. Whether you're repairing a daily-driven Liberty, keeping a Grand Cherokee dependable, or returning a Commander to reliable service, this starter provides the application-specific solution needed to get the engine turning again.
