Keeping informed of your engines performance is important to classic CJ Jeeps. The Crown Automotive Oil Pressure Sending Unit operates the gauge on the dash so you know when there are issues with the oil system. If you are getting erratic needle movement or the needle is pinned in one direction, you could need a new sending unit. Change the sending unit only after you have determined the oil level and pump are in proper working order and the gauge is not trying to tell you something.
