Heavy Duty High Pinion Currie 60 Axle Housing Manufactured from Stage-1 Nodular Iron with Thicker Reinforced Walls and Webbing. The Axle Tubes Are Over Twice as Strong as Factory 3” Diameter and .375” DOM. Features Red Nodular Iron Differential Cover with Integrated Upper Control Arm Mount.
Upgraded Input Yoke Accepts 1350 U-Joints. This Eliminates One of the Common Factory Driveline Points of Failure.
Currie Performance Axle Shafts Tough 1.5” Thick 35 Spline 4340 Chromoly Inner and Outer Shafts Utilize 1480 U-Joints and 1-Ton Unit Bearings. Pre-Installed Tone Rings Retain Factory ABS and ESP.
5x5.5 Bolt Pattern with 1/2” Wheel Studs Feature 35 Spline Warn Manual Locking Hubs and 13” Vented Brake Rotors. Even Though They are Over 1” Larger Than Stock Wrangler Front Brakes, the Included Rotors are Compatible with Factory Calipers. Currie Also Includes Zinc Coated Caliper Brackets.
Improved Steering for Larger Tires This Axle is 3.375” Wider Than Factory (68.75” Between Wheel Mounting Surfaces). Also, There is 5 Degrees of Caster Angle Built in to Help Accommodate Oversized Aftermarket Wheels and Tires. Includes Currie 1-Ton Forged Inner and Outer High Steer Steering Knuckles with a CurrectLync® Tie Rod. The Tie Rod is 1-3/8” Diameter, .250 DOM Heat Treated Chromoly, and Features 7/8” 1-Ton Tie Rod Ends
Perfect for Lifted Wranglers The Currie 60 is Optimized for 4” Lift Kits with 5 Degrees of Pinion Angle. Suspension Brackets Are Made from Heavy Gauge 3/16” Steel Plate and Have Multiple Mounting Holes That Allow You to Fine Tune Your Suspension Geometry. The Upper Control Arm Mounts Include Built-In Johnny Joints with 1/2” Greasable Bolts.
