For CJ applications this seal fits driver or passenger side. For Wrangler YJ applications it's for the driver side only (with stock axle shaft configuration). For Wrangler TJ applications it fits both driver and passenger sides. For Cherokee XJ applications it fits both driver and passenger side depending if axle has a vacuum disconnect or not.
