The Dana Spicer Ring & Pinion Set is produced with the strictest tolerances to match precise engineering specs. We offer a selection of gear ratios to apply various amounts of torque to your front wheels. This affects gas mileage and RPMs as well.
The larger your tires, the more force is required to turn them. This requires larger gears in a higher numerical ratio in order to transfer power appropriately. The lower numerical gear ratio allows for high top-end speeds when additional force isn’t needed to turn the Jeep wheels.
