If you pulled your rear drive shaft out on your last wheeling trip from too much flexing , or you broke an eye on your yoke, the Crown Automotive Rear Slip Yoke will have you fixed up in a hurry. For Jeeps from 1996-2006 with an NP231 or NP242 transfer case, this yoke replaces the original yoke that connects to the rear drive shaft. In extreme cases, when the length of the drive shaft is too short, you can pull the yoke from the housing and your drive shaft drops. Chances are pretty good that during the fall the yoke will be damaged. Replace it with a new yoke to assure that the surfaces are smooth and true and will not cut up the seals.
