Installation of a Slip Yoke Eliminator, or SYE, helps bring your lifted Jeep's driveshaft angle closer to original specs, thus reducing vibrations and worn u-joints. This SYE kit includes a 1 3/8"-spline rear output shaft, 356-T6 heat-treated aluminum alloy tail housing, bearings, fastening hardware, and detailed instructions.
Please Note: Requires a longer driveshaft, which is available separately. Only works with the NP231 transfer case.
Advance Adapters has designed the heavy-duty fixed yoke output shaft with the most current design shaft found in the NP231. The current design shaft was introduced in 1997. Jeep's using the early NP231 can still use the SYE kit as long as the needle bearings are removed from the stock drive sprockets.
