The Crown Automotive Cluster Gear Thrust Washer is a direct replacement for the T90 transmission found in Willy's and early CJ Jeeps. Located on the countershaft at the bottom of the transmission, this washer contacts the cluster and the tabs seat into the gear and helps to shim the cluster to the proper clearances between .012" to .018". The bronze backing is located facing the case, against the outer thrust washer and prevents metal to metal reaction inside the case when pressure is applied.
