When you are rebuilding your Jeep CJ's transmission and notice the top is cracked from flexing or the eyes that hold the lever pins have wallowed out, you don't have to go searching in yards for a replacement that may be in the same poor shape. The Crown Automotive Shifter Cover for the T176 and T177 manual transmission is a new part, cast to fit to fit like the original. Make sure that when you are done rebuilding the inside of the transmission that the last piece you put on is in just as good of shape as the rest.
