This replacement Outer Shift Boot from Omix is for the Jeep Wrangler YJ and replaces the faded and torn boot that was in place from the factory. No special tools needed to install, simply remove the shift knobs and slide over the shift arms, tuck the groove under the console and you have a fresh look for your interior. Changing the outer shift boot can also keep out unwanted heat and fumes from the cab. Fresh molded rubber tends to be stiff, but will loosen after usage.
