Hardware Not Included: You can reuse your original fuel tank strap nut, or purchase a new Mopar strap nut
If you are swapping out your TJ's original fuel tank skid plate you may want to consider new fuel tank straps. Hanging out underneath the back of your Jeep exposes the plate and straps to moisture which rust and degrade the metal. If your plate is bad, then chances are, rescuing the threads on the straps will be a chore. In most cases it would be easier to cut the old straps and install a new Crown Automotive Fuel Tank Strap. The straps are important to remember when putting the tank and plate back up, as they keep the tank from hopping around and breaking more important fuel lines.
