When your heater has a developed a mind of its own and delivers heat from only 1 or 2 settings, then your resistor should be changed. The Mopar Heater Blower Motor Resistor is a factory replacement that mounts under the glove box on passenger side. This resistor regulates the current sent from the HVAC controller to the motor. Over time, dead spots on the resistor card make it so current does not flow properly and your motor is not getting the signal to change speeds. If your fan speeds are the only thing not functioning on your heating system, its your blower resistor.
