Keep your engine running cool with a new Crown Automotive Water Pump for 4 and 6-cylinder Jeep engines. This standard volume water pump is a direct replacement for the original and mounts to the engine without modifications needed. Over time stock water pumps can wear down due to the plastic internal impeller riding on metal bearings and shafts. The impeller loses its effectiveness and the flow of coolant is decreased. When the impeller is holding the bearings tight and spinning true, you are getting the full volume of coolant through the engine and it will stay at the desired temperature. If you are having overheating issues and replacing the radiator did not solve them, look to your water pump and pick up a quality Crown Automotive replacement.
