Details

Overheating? Check the thermostat, it is usually the first to fail. The Crown Automotive Thermostat is a direct replacement for the early Jeeps and will open at 180° to allow the coolant and water to flow through the pump and return through the water jackets in the engine block. Over time the thermostat can get stuck in position, no longer allowing coolant to flow and causing high engine temperatures and poor performance.
