This Officially Licensed Mopar Aluminum Valve Cover from Omix is specially designed to replace the plastic cover on the 4.2L engines found in the 81-86 Jeep CJ. Not only is this aluminum cover attractive with the raised Jeep logo, but its functional, with heat dissipating fins, cast into the body and inner baffles designed for better oil channeling. A semi-gloss black wrinkle finish adds even more dimension. Engines with studded rocker arm bridges will need new flat rocker bridges and tapping the cylinder head is required for all installations.
