Direct Bolt On Installation: The Spare Tire Carrier Relocation Bracket has been specifically designed for the Wrangler JL, and will install with simple hand tools with no drilling, cutting or modifications to the vehicle at all. Factory attachment points are reused and OE wiring is long enough with no extension needed for up to 35" tires! The original rubber isolators are also reused for vibration reduction.
Allow For Larger Spare Tire: This Heavy Duty Relocation Bracket is made from 3/16" Laser Cut Steel, and will fit up to a 37" Spare Tire. This bracket will allow the factory rear camera functions to be retained as well with no modifications!
The Spare Tire Relocation Bracket by Smittybilt will allow JL owners to outfit their Jeeps with up to a 37 inch spare tire! This bracket is a simply bolt on application that requires no drilling or modifications to the vehicle. The relocation bracket will re-position the spare 1.5 inches out and 1.5 inches upward, which takes care of any fitment issues with the rear bumper or tailgate. The bracket will install using original attachment points, and factory wiring will be long enough for the third brake light. Factory rear camera functions are retained without any modifications. This bracket is sturdy, using 3/16" laser cut steel but very lightweight at 11 lbs. This is designed to fit all Wrangler JL 2 and 4 Door models. Finished with a special 3 stage treatment with E coating inside and out, and dual powder coating which will provide years of optimal performance.
