AMERICAN AUTOWIRE HARNESS 76-86 CJ

The '76-'86 Jeep CJ Kit is the most complete wiring system of its type in the industry using many original switch connector bodies. Kit features a replacement headlight switch with internal 25-amp circuit breaker and adjustable length shaft with custom knob. The standard turn signal flasher, hazard flasher, and horn relay are mounted onto harness. The upgraded fuse box installs at the original location without modification. New ATO fuse panel allows easy fuse and circuit breaker accessibility. Harness is designed to accommodate virtually all aftermarket accessories such as gauge packages, wiper systems, heat and air conditioning systems. Steering column connectors will plug directly into the stock '76-'86 Jeep columns and most aftermarket columns. Under dash courtesy lamp assemblies are also included for use along with your original dome/interior lighting feeds. Instrument Cluster wiring is designed with a disconnect feature for easy service and assembly. Original terminals, connectors, lamp sockets, and attaching nuts are provided for plug-n-play stock connections. The system will also connect into most popular aftermarket gauges such as Autometer, Classic Instruments, VDO, Dakota Digital and others. Comes completely assembled, with plug-n-play OE style weatherproof tail lamp harness using stock connectors. Rear body wiring includes leads for tail lamps and side markers along with new side marker lamp sockets, pigtail extensions, license plate lamp lead connection, as well as the fuel tank sender lead connection are also included. Complete engine wiring includes feeds for coil, tachometer, water temperature, oil pressure, electric choke, transfer case warning lamp, under hood lamp, transmission kick down, and electric speedometer (if needed). A heavy gauge alternator feed and fusible link are also included for any typical high output 1 wire or internally regulated “SI” alternator. Connectors supplied for power and tachometer leads for GM style H.E.I. distributors along with various oil and temp senders. Front lighting includes longer than stock leads for optional appearances. Kit also includes all head light, floor dimmer switch, parking light, directional light, and side marker light leads, along with horn, washer pump, brake warning wires, and a switched trigger wire for an electric fan relay if desired. Complete fog lamp circuit includes an OE switch connector along with a supplied power relay. New windshield wiper switch adapter assembly is included along with motor and pump feeds. Additionally, you'll get new high and low beam relay circuits along with supplied relays for halogen headlights. For customers building a fiberglass bodied vehicle, or one requiring extra grounding capabilities, a full vehicle grounding kit is available separately to accommodate your needs.
