Position Sensitive Damping: External bypass technology is used to give you precise control on the road and off by incorporating multiple stages of damping as the shock cycles. At ride height, the resistance is light, giving you a comfortable ride. When the terrain turns ugly, the shock provides an increase in control to compensate. Position sensitive damping means that the farther the shock compresses, the more resistance is applied. The external bypass tubes allow you to adjust that resistance. The 2.5" large diameter shock bodies provide additional cooling. The multi-stage, position sensitive damping offers unmatched control and the external bypass tubes allow precise fine tuning.
Direct Fit Installation: The new 2.5 inch double bypass shocks from Sway-A-Way fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models that have a 4.5" of lift. The shocks bolt into the stock locations.
Adjustable and Rebuildable: Shocks are 17.5" Compressed and 28.0" Extended. They are completely adjustable and rebuildable using simple tools.
