Rear suspension control is where traction and stability are won or lost. The Fox Racing Shox 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body Reservoir Rear Shock is designed to deliver improved rear-end stability and damping consistency for 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma models equipped with 0–1.5 inches of lift.

This high-performance reservoir shock uses a 2-inch impact-extruded aluminum mono-tube body paired with an external remote reservoir, thus increasing oil volume and thermal stability to minimize damping fade during repeated compression cycles. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design separates nitrogen gas from shock oil to prevent cavitation, ensuring a predictable damping response under varying load and terrain conditions. Application-specific valving preserves rear suspension geometry while improving rebound control and traction over uneven surfaces.
