Bolt-On Installation: For ease of install, no cutting, drilling, or other modifications are required. The Rough Country License Plate Adapter reuses the bolt holes for the left tail light.
Vehicle Specific Design: The Rough Country License Plate Adapter was engineered for use with all TJ Wranglers. It is compatible with all trim packages, factory options, and both OEM and aftermarket tail lights.
Some aftermarket rear bumpers and tire carriers can interfere with the factory Jeep Wrangler TJ license plate mount. The Rough Country License Plate Adapter allows you to mount your license plate in the factory position, but with additional clearance. By reusing the left tail light mounting holes, this adapter features a 100% bolt-on installation. For ultimate corrosion resistance, Rough Country finishes their License Plate Adapter in a heavy-duty textured black powder coat.
