Vehicle Specific Design: The Rough Country Cold Air Intake System was engineered for use with TJ model Wranglers that are equipped with the 2.5L inline 4-cylinder engine.
High-Flow Intake: By reducing intake restriction, the Rough Country Cold Air Intake System increases horsepower and overall engine performance. Cool dense air creates better combustion with more oxygen.
Reusable Filter: Unlike the factory paper air filter, the oiled filter that is included in this kit can be cleaned and reused. This keeps servicing costs low, and makes for a long-lasting performance upgrade.
Give your Jeep a boost in throttle response and torque with the Rough Country Cold Air Intake for the Wrangler TJ with the 2.5L engine. Featuring a reusable, cleanable filter and wide molded tube, this intake increases the volume of air entering the engine while filtering the dust and debris from the air to protect the engine's internals. Optional Pre-Filter Wrap is made from a silicone treated polyester mesh which works to protect the filter and engine even further from moisture and particulates when you head off-road, while not starving the engine of the valuable clean air. Do-it-yourself installation.
Installation Note: For Use with 4.0L Engines Only. NOT for use in California pending Air Resource Board Exemption.
