Vehicle Specific: The Rough Country Skid Plate System is designed to fit 4-door model Wrangler Unlimited JLs with the 3.6L engine only.
Heavy-Duty Construction: By using 3/16in steel plate, Rough County’s all-steel Skid Plate System can take any off-road abuse. Rough Country’s durable powder coating protects the skid plates from corrosion. To avoid snagging on obstacles, bolt heads are recessed into the skid plates.
User Friendly Design: With 100% bolt-on installation no cutting, drilling, or other modifications are required. Oil changes will not be affected by the engine skid plate, because it features a convenient portal.

These all-steel skid plates are made from durable 3/16in plate and feature a highly corrosion resistant black powder coat finish. To allow your Jeep to glide over rocks, bolt heads are recessed. Each kit includes an engine and transfer case skid plate, an optional gas tank skid plate is also available.
