Designed for Large Tires: The Spare Tire Carrier is adjustable, and will fit up to a 40” spare tire. The heavy-duty steel is designed specifically to handle the added weight of larger wheels and tires.
Ease of Installation: MORryde’s Spare Tire Carrier will bolt right to the factory tailgate and is designed to be used in conjunction with the Tailgate Reinforcement bracket (sold separately) to make for a strong and rattle free tailgate upgrade.
After you upgrade your stock wheels and tires to a larger size, you need a spare tire carrier that can handle that extra weight. The Spare Tire Carrier from MORryde is the perfect addition to the Wrangler JK for larger tires. This unit is designed to work with the MORryde Tailgate Reinforcement (sold separately), but can mount to the factory tailgate as well. The spare tire carrier has multiple positions that will accommodate up to a 40” spare tire. The built-in brake light stalk is adjustable so the third brake light can be easily seen even with a 40” spare. The brake light stalk makes it simple to relocate your original third brake light.
