Punched and Drilled: Holes for latches, hinges and tire carriers have been punched and weld nuts have been installed to accept OE hardware
The Crown Automotive Steel Tailgate is a replacement for the factory original tailgate used in early TJ Wranglers up to 2002. If you are replacing the tailgate on a Wrangler 97-02 then you can swap all of your parts over and be back on the road once the paint has dried. The Crown tailgate has holes punched for vehicle wiring, hinges and handle and latch hardware, all available separately. This tailgate can reuse the factory tire carrier or after market heavy duty tire carriers that mount like factory carriers. Please note: Does not fit 2003+..
