2013 marked the 10th Anniversary of the Rubicon Edition Jeep and in commemoration Jeep commissioned special bumpers and hoods never seen before. The Mopar Power Dome Hood debuted as a fierce upgrade to the standard flat hoods that have been around since the 1940's. The Power Dome Hood is a great match between unique style and performance. With functional vents in the center of the hood, the engine compartment can breathe better, expelling the ambient hot air trapped underneath, and this was extremely important in the Rubicon Editions, due to their trail capabilities right off of the showroom floor, slower speeds on trails trap air even more.
