This is the "Stop / Lock" for the GenRight Swing Out rear tire carrier that fits the Wrangler TJ. It allows the tire carrier to be opened all the way and locked into position automatically so the rear cargo area can be accessed. Then pull the spring loaded release to close the carrier and secure it with the latch pins. Fits the steel or aluminum GenRight Swing Out tire carriers and can be adapted to carriers already installed.
