Features: This tire carrier is compatible with your Jeep's back up camera as well as the factory 3rd brake light. Comes with a CB antenna mount along with a Hi-Lift jack mount. Made from aluminum so it will not add much weight to your Jeep.
Adjustable Mount: The adjustable tire rack allows you to lift your tire up to 6" above the factory height so you can fit up to a 35" spare tire without interfering with the stock or most aftermarket bumpers.
Installation: This tire carrier bolts over the factory hinges and requires no cutting or drilling for installation.
Running larger tires on your Wrangler JL can be a big improvement on the trails but you might find it hard to fit one on your spare tire carrier. The Freedom Series Body Mount Tire Carrier with Billet Aluminum Braces is a great solution without you having to get a bumper mounted tire carrier and will allow you to carry up to a 35" tire. The adjustable mount lifts your tire from the normal factory height to 6" above so you can fit a larger spare tire and will not need to change your rear bumper. This carrier has billet aluminum hinge braces that bolt over the factory hinges for extra support and allow you to open up your tailgate as you would right out of the factory. Hinge braces are shown in bare aluminum for highlighted purpose. They come black powder coated.
