Ground Clearance: By raising the bumper up and having high tapered sides you will gain more clearance for better angles so you will not get caught up on an obstacle such as rocks or other things on the trail. Any tire over 35" will require a tire carrier relocation bracket
Features: Made from 1/4" thick plate aluminum this frame mounted bumper will put no stress on your tailgate. This bumper has a cut out so you will be able to retain your factory hitch plus it has the electronics port provision for wiring. The 1" thick double welded recovery tabs will come in handy if you are in a recovery situation.
Installation: This is a simple bolt on bumper that will not require drilling or cutting to your JL.

This bumper will retain your factory receiver hitch and has the towing electronics port provisions as well as retaining your parking sensors. Because of the extra ground clearance you will gain you will not be able to use the factory spare tire carrier. A aftermarket tire carrier relocation bracket will be required.
