AEV’s Tree Strap allows a winch cable to be safely anchored to tree’s trunk when recovering a stuck vehicle, without causing any permanent damage. Without using a Tree Strap, the steel cable or synthetic winch rope will heavily gouge a tree’s bark under the extreme forces that winching can generate—damage that can ultimately kill the tree. Using a Tree Strap displaces all that energy and preserves the tree.
