This 2" Receiver Hitch manufactured by Curt is specifically designed for the Jeep Wrangler JL vehicle. The trailer hitch is rated as a Class 3 hitch that has a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. with a GTW of 350 lbs. The 2" receiver opening is made to accept any off road accessory such as cargo baskets, bike racks, or even a trailer to take with you on the next off road adventure. All Curt Hitches are finished with a unique process that involved being dipped in a liquid Bonderite coating inside and out, then cured in a black powder coat that ensures the maximum in rust prevention and UV resistance. Installs easily with no drilling required to the vehicle for installation. Some models may have existing bolts with weldnuts that keep a plate attached. During installation, the hitch will need to be slid in between the bracket and the mounting tube with the factory hardware reinstalled.
