QR3 SIDE STEPS JL 4DR LIGHT TEXT BLK

A lifted Wrangler looks right at home sitting tall, but that extra height can make getting into the cabin a daily workout. The Quadratec QR3 Heavy Duty Side Steps provide the 2018–2027 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4-Door with a sturdy, conveniently positioned step that makes entry and exit easier for drivers and passengers. Their traditional round-tube design also adds a clean, purposeful appearance that complements the Wrangler without overwhelming its factory styling.

Each QR3 Side Step is constructed from mandrel-bent 3-inch diameter seamless steel tubing, creating a strong platform with smooth bends and a substantial feel. Tough nylon step pads are positioned at the doors to provide traction where your boots actually land, helping deliver more confident footing in wet, muddy, or dusty conditions. With approximately four inches of usable step area between the tube and body, the QR3 provides practical access rather than merely adding another piece of tubing along the rocker panel.

Durability extends beyond the steel itself. Quadratec protects the QR3 with an e-coat base treatment and durable black powder coat finish. The e-coating promotes superior adhesion and adds another line of defense against corrosion, while the exterior powder coat stands up to the dirt, moisture, road salt, and changing weather that come with year-round Jeep ownership. The result is a side step built to look at home on everything from a daily-driven Unlimited to a Wrangler that regularly returns from the trail wearing a fresh layer of mud.

Installation is equally straightforward. Jeep-specific frame-mounted brackets allow the QR3 Side Steps to bolt onto the vehicle without drilling or permanent modification. Everything needed for installation is included, and the job typically takes approximately one to two hours. That means you can add a substantial step and transform the Wrangler's side profile without turning the project into an all-day fabrication exercise.

For Wrangler owners who want easier cabin access without the bulk of a full running board, the Quadratec QR3 Heavy Duty Side Steps strike a useful balance. The 3-inch tubular construction delivers traditional Jeep styling, the non-slip pads make every climb into the cabin easier, and the frame-mounted design provides a sturdy foundation underfoot. Backed by Quadratec's 3-year limited warranty, the QR3 is a practical upgrade that earns its keep every time you open the door.
